We are excited to bring back many of our <br />favorites as well as looking to add some new opportutties. We will be adding dog <br />obedience classes, more youth opportunities, and looking for ways to serve our growing teen <br />population at Lions Park. We are also meeting with the Boys and Girls Club to talk about <br />possible partnership opportunities. <br />January Programs <br />Open Gyms, Weight Loss Success workshops, Girl Power, Parent and Tot Tumbling, <br />Preschool Tumbling, Parent and Tot Open Playtime, Eager Elks Tumbling, Warming <br />House, 6-8`h grade trips, Dodgeball Tournament, Skate Races, Cheer America, Young <br />Americans Self Defense, adult fitness classes, and Skating Academy. <br />Special Marketing Efforts <br />The internal bulletin board is up and running. It will be used both as a marketing tool and to <br />greet the patrons of Lions Park Center. We are also putting an ad in the Star News to let <br />people know that our guide is available each session. <br />Facility Use <br />We reserved 140 hours of facility use in January. 75 hours was indoor facility use, 17 hours <br />was hockey rinks, and the remainder was for miscellaneous park and trail use. <br />Warming House/Ice Rinks <br />We have been open through January 27`'' most days. Due to the warm weather, we are <br />currently closed and are not scheduled to reopen at this time. If weather permits, this would <br />be re-evaluated. <br />
