On April 29t~, staff participated in a conference call <br />with Central Minnesota Municipal Power Agency ~CMMPA} and other potential Power <br />Coalition participants, All the original members of interest have received approval from their <br />governing bodies to participate in the resource planning study "Phase 1" of the Power Coalition, <br />During this call, consensus was reached by the participants regarding a Participation Agreement, <br />direction for a Confidentiality Agreement, scope of Phase 1, cost allocations, and Power <br />Coalition "off ramps". The costs associated with Phase 1 for ER.MU will be less than $1 Ole. The <br />Commission had approved participation ~in Phase 1 for costs up to ~20k, <br />The Utilities Commission will need to designate a representative and an alternate for the Power <br />Coalition Committee. After the previously mentioned documents are finalized and then signed <br />by all the participants, a committee chair will be elected out of the participants representatives. <br />This election will take place during a conference call on May 21st <br />
