The annual cast for the CMMPA Associate Mer~bership is ~3~,00~ per year. To avoid any duplication a~ charges far planning services, CMMPA would like to offer ERMU the opportunity to e~ctend their CMMPA Associate Membership for an additional year with recognition of ERMU's payments made for their associated costs of participating in the Power Supply Coalition, ERMU's currently projected allocation of cost of participating in the Power Supply Coalition is $,~~3 for the Phase 1 ~ Planning Phase and ~~9,44~ for Phase ~ ~ RFP Phase. ERMU's total projected cost of participating in the Power Supply Coalition then is projected at X27,777, if ERMU renews its CMMPA Associate Membership, CMMPA wilt apply all payments which ERMU makes to CMMPA for its participation in the Power Supply Coalition between May ~~, ~g~ 0 and May 25, ~g~ ~ towards ERMU's amount due for their CMMPA Assooiate Membership. Assuming the actual Power Supply Coalition costs come in at the projected X27,777, ~RMI~ would still owe a truepup payment of ~~,~~~ at the end of their ~ year extension of their CMMPA Associate Membership, if the actual cost of the Power Supply Coalition effort comes in under budget, for if ERMU elects to not proceed to Phase ~}, the true up would be increased appropriately such that the amount paid toward the Power Supply Coalition plus the true up amount equaled ~~o,odo. If ERMU elects to participate in Phase ~, then CMMPA would propose to invoice ERMU for ~ true up payment in May of next year. If ERMU elected to not participate in Phase 2, CMMPA would invoice the true up amount aver the remaining months of ERMU's associate membership. if ERMU's allocation of the actual cast of the Power Supply Coalition ware to coma in over budget and exceed ~3o,aod, then the total cast of ERMU's associate membership will be the total allocated cost of the Power Supply Coalition effort. Because this Power Supply Coalition effort represents a planning effort that is som®what above the typical planning effort which the agency typically er~barks open, and because the coalition participants as a whole really control the scope and the budget ~witb CMMPA not having total control of the budget or the scope}, it is CMMPA's view that ERMU's Associate membership dose should be adjusted to include any Power Supply Coalition costs over ~3Q,000 that incur between May ~~, 20~ d and May 25, 20~ ~ ,
