<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />May 13, 1963 <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the Village Hall on May 13, 1963. <br />Members present Johnson, Larson, Meyer, and Briggs. Norris was absent. <br /> <br />Mr. Fay Frawley representing the Bartenders Union was present. New contract with the Union was <br />considered. The council agreed to a raise for bartenders to $2.33 per hour for the first year. $2.33 <br />per hour for the second year and $2.43 per hour for the third year. <br /> <br />For waitresses the rate is to be $1.29 per hour for the first year and $1.32 per hour for the second <br />year and $1.35 for the third year. <br /> <br />In the case of split shifts the Junior man is to be taken and paid 10% additional. <br /> <br />Contracts will be prepared and mailed to the village. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />H.A.
