<br />RESOLUTION <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION DATED SEPTEMBER 18, 1961. <br />REGARDING WORKING CONDITIONS, WAGES, AND HOURS <br />FOR BARTENDERS AND WAITRESSES IN THE MUNICIPAL <br />LIQUOR STORE FOR THE VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Elk River has met with repre- <br />sentatives of the empl07ees of the Municipal Liquor Store of the Village of Elk <br />River, for the purpose of discu8sing improvements in the wages and working <br />conditions of said employees, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED ~ the Village of <br />Elk River, that the resolution dated September 18, 1961, establishing working <br />conditiona, wagea and hours for bartenders and waitresses inthe Municipal <br />Liquor Store for the Village of Elk River, is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />ARTICLE vn <br /> <br />SICK LEAVE <br /> <br />Amended to now provide for twelve (12) working days of sick leave <br />each year. Further amended to provide that if within any current year, an <br />employee has exhausted his sick leave benefit for that current year, he shall <br />be entitled to use unused sick leave benefits from the preceding year, if any <br />shall remain. Otherwise there shall be no accumulation of sick leave from <br />year to year. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IX <br /> <br />OVER TIME HOURS <br /> <br />Amendment of the last paragraph thereof relating to split shifts to <br />provide as follows: During the slack time of the year, the most junior employee <br />can work the split shift. but said employee will be entitled to a premium of ten <br />percent (10%) over the established rates during such split shift period of work. <br /> <br />AR TICLE XIV <br /> <br />WAGE SCALE <br /> <br />Amended to provide for the following increases over the previous estab- <br />lished rates, effective in accord with the following Bchedule: <br /> <br />Classification <br /> <br />Effective <br />February 1,1963 <br />3-1/2 cents <br />5- 3/4 cents <br /> <br />Effective <br />January 1,1964 <br />3 cents <br />5 cents <br /> <br />Effective <br />January 1, 1965 <br />3 cents <br />5 cents <br /> <br />Waitresses <br />Bartenders <br /> <br />AR TICLE xvn <br /> <br />HEALTH AND WELFARE PROCEDURES <br /> <br />Amended to provide that the Village agreelil to put into effect a health <br />
