e e e MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL HELD AT ELK RIVER CITY HALL MONDAY, MAY 22, 1989 MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Tralle, Councilmembers Schuldt, Kropuenske, Holmgren, and Dobel MEMBER ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Patrick Klaers, City Administrator; Lori Johnson, Finance Director; Sandy Thackeray, Deputy City Clerk; Richard Fursman, Economic Development Coordinator; Mike Mulrooney, Economic Development Consultant 1. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order by Mayor Tralle at 7:00 p.m. 2. Consider 5/22/89 City Council Agenda The following items were added to the agenda: 9.3. Chris Zerwas Representing Elk River Jaycees 9.4. Police Chief Zerwas 9.5. Councilmember Schuldt Update 9.6. Mayor Tralle Update COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3.1. Consider 5/8/89 City Council Minutes Councilmember Schuldt added to item #3. already several car likelihood of other area." indicated that he would like the following sentence "Councilmember Schuldt indicated that there are sales lots on Highway 10 and this reduces the highway commercial businesses developing in the Councilmember Schuldt further indicated that the last sentence in the last paragraph of page 2 should be amended as follows, "It was the consensus of the City Council that no further action need be taken regarding the timing of the softball lights unless problems are brought to the Council's attention." COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 5/8/89 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3.2. Consider 5/15/89 City Council Minutes COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE THE 5/15/89 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
