<br />e <br /> <br />MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER BOARD OF REVIEW <br />HELD AT THE SHERBURNE COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER <br />WEDNESDAY, MAY 10, 1995 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman. Councilmembers Scheel and Dietz <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Holmgren and Farber. Councilmember <br />Holmgren was absent due to his position as assessor at Sherburne <br />County <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Sandra Thackeray. City Clerk <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Ty Bischoff. County Assessor; Jerry Kritzeck. Commercial Assessor; <br />John Cullen. Residential Assessor <br /> <br />Call Meetinq To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River Board of <br />Review was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />County Assessor Ty Bischoff informed the audience that the purpose of the Board <br />of Review meeting is to review the assessment of individual parcels with the Board <br />of Review. <br /> <br />Ty Bischoff explained that the Board of Review would hear appeals on an <br />individual basis. <br /> <br />1. DuWavne Grussendorf - 75-413-0410 <br /> <br />The City Clerk entered into the minutes a letter from DuWayne Grussendorf dated <br />May 1995. addressed to the Elk River Board of Review. The letter indicated Mr. <br />Grussendorf's concern regarding the continued increase in valuation of his <br />property (75-413-1410). The letter stated that his property value increased from <br />$68.600 in 1993 to $85.900 in 1995. <br /> <br />Ty Bischoff explained that land in the old village limits has received an overall <br />increase of $1.500 per parcel based on inflation. <br /> <br />MAYOR DUITSMAN MOVED THAT THE PROPERTY VALUE FOR PARCEL #75-413-0410. <br />REMAIN AT $85.900. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Roqer Dickenson - 75-128-4305 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The City Clerk entered into the record a letter of concern from Roger Dickenson <br />for parcel 75-128-4305. Mr. Dickenson has requested the Board of Review to <br />review the valuation of this parcel. stating that at least 50% of the property is low <br />land. <br /> <br />Jerry Kritzeck. Assessor, indicated that the parcel is actually three parcels of land. <br />but treated as one parcel. He further stated that the land is valued as <br />commercial property. <br />
