3.12 ALL OTHER INFORMATION AS DETERMINED BY THE CITY STAFF <br />There is no other information required at this point. <br />3.13 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT/LICENSE STANDARDS OF ISSiJANCE <br />The ERL has maintained a solid waste facility license agreement and conditional use <br />permit in accordance with the City's requirements. Both of these documents require <br />amendment for development of this proposed expansion. <br />City Code §§ 30-654 and 58-125 set forth seven standards that must be met when <br />considering conditional use permits. The proposed expansion those standards as detailed <br />below. <br />Y. Will izot endan;er, injau•e or detrimentally affect the use and enjoyment ~f other <br />property irz the immediate vicinity or the public health, safety, morals, comfort, <br />convenience or general welfare of the nei;hborhood or• the city. <br />Consistent with its approved CUP for the existing MSW landfill, the following <br />summarizes the standards that will continue to be met for the proposed expansion. <br />Groundwater <br />The proposed expansion, similar to the existing Facility, is a modern, lined landfill that <br />meets or exceeds all health and safety regulatory requirements. The facility is designed to <br />protect groundwater by preventing a release to the environment "hhe facility also has a <br />groundwater monitoring network and monitoring program. Federal, state, and county <br />regulations establish siting, monitoring, water quality, and other standards to protect <br />groundwater resources.
