Add a Pedestrian Crossing at the Intersection of 193`a Avenue at Xavier Street <br />Much of the concerns raised by residents revolve around safety of pedestrians crossing <br />193`a at Xavier Street. As the sight distance is limited for east bound traffic as it <br />approaches this intersection and given that amulti-way stop is not recommended in this <br />location an alternative that would provide signage and striping to call drivers attention to <br />the possibility of pedestrians in the area is a reasonable accommodation. The west side of <br />the intersection is the most favorable location for a pedestrian crossing to be marked. The <br />sidewalk connection to the south along Xavier Street is on the west side of the street. <br />There are pedestrian curb ramps on both the northwest and southwest corner of the <br />4 <br />
