As in the case of Communications monopoles, Vahnont <br />'has been actively engaged in the designing and manufacturing of thes~ poles for fifteen years. <br />The structural integrity of the monopoles is occasionally questioned by zoning and plam~ng <br />board commissions when this concern is not justified by engineering or experience. If a building <br />of the same height as a monopole were to be constructed on the same plot of land, no one would <br />question what it would hit if it were to fall dowa tn the ground, even though the building and the <br />monopole would be designed in accordance with the same building code requirements to safely <br />withstand thc same wind loadings. <br /> I hope this has helped.
