No. 3512 <br />t.2 as follows: <br />t,3 Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert: <br />l.a "Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 144.1222, is amended by adding a <br />t.s subdivision to read: <br />t,5 Subd. 3a. Indoor ice arenas; license required. (a) After January 1 2011 an indoor <br />i.~ ice arena ma not o erate without a valid license issued b the commissioner. An indoor <br />t.s ice arena license must be renewed annuall .Ana lication for a new or renewed 'indoor <br />t.9 ice arena license must be accotnpanied by a fee as follows: <br />t,to (1) $200 for an indoor ice arena that does not use either ice resurfacing or ice edging <br />t.t t equipment that is exclusively powered by electricity; <br />t.12 (2) $100 for an indoor ice arena that uses ice edging equipment that is exclusively <br />t.t3 powered by electricity; <br />t.la ~) $50 for an indoor ice arena that uses ice resurfacing equipment that is exclusively <br />t.t5 powered by electricity; and <br />t.t6 (4) no fee is required for an indoor ice arena that uses both ice resurfacing and ice <br />1.17 edging equipment that are exclusively powered by electricity. <br />t,t s The commissioner ma revoke a license issued under this subdivision for violations <br />t.t9 of subdivisions 3a to 3c. <br />I.2o (b) An indoor ice arena regulatory account is established in the special revenue fund. <br />t.2t The commissioner of health shall de osit all revenues from licenses issued under this <br />t2z subdivision and subdivision 3c in the indoor ice arena regulatory account. All money in <br />t.23 the account is annually appropriated from the indoor ice arena regulatory account to the <br />t.2a commissioner of health for the purpose of administering the statutes and rules governing <br />1.25 indoor ice arenas. <br />Section 1. 1 <br />
