The change order would add to the construction of Dodge Avenue south from its
current terminus point to the south lot line of the McDonalds property. Mr. Santwire
uw~ ENGINEERING indicated the property owners that he represents are interested in having this added to the
ENVIRONMENTAL current project so in the future there would be no disruption in front of their properties.
MUNICIPAL Mr. Santwire indicated that the property owners he represents are willing to sign a petition
PiANNING and waive their rights to appeal an assessment for the Dodge Avenue improvement.
~SOLiD WASTE
sTRUCruRAL City Attorney Peter Beck has drafted the necessary petitions and waivers for the four
suRVErING property owners involved. They include the three office buildings north of McDonalds and
TRAEE~c the McDonalds site. We understand that Mr. Santwire will have the signed petitions and
TRANSPORTATioN waivers available at Monday evening's meeting.
ELEaRicnuMECHANICaL The Dodge Avenue improvement will include a 42-foot wide urban road with concrete curb
ENGINEERING:
yvac and gutter, and a sidewalk on the east side.. The roadway will be striped with two
=ow~ER DisTRlsuTioN southbound lanes and one northbound. We would recommend approval of the change order
s-ADA contingent upon all four property owners signing the petition and waiver of their rights to
svsTEM coNrROLS appeal the assessment.
__ _
If you have any questions regarding this, I will be in attendance at Monday evening's City
Council meeting.
Sincerely,
OFFICES IN:
MINNEAPOLIS
PRIOR LAKE
ST.
