Economic Development !-Authority Minutes <br />September 14, 2009 <br />Page 3 <br />The EDA made no changes to the plan; however, it was suggested that the formatting of the <br />workplan be changed to be more legible. Ms. Mehelich indicated staff will be amending the <br />workplan format. <br />Ms. Mehelich stated the work-plan will be reviewed by the Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority at their next meeting. <br />8. Other Business <br />John Weicht, John Weicht and Associates — explained that he submitted a proposal for the <br />VA Clinic on property he owns located within Phase I of the Focused Area Study. He added <br />that this property has no road access and he would like to work out an agreement with the <br />city to provide access if the property is selected for the clinic. <br />Consensus of the EDA was for staff to work with Mr. Weicht regarding future road access <br />to this property if the site is selected for the future home of the VA Clinic. <br />Adjournment <br />There being no other business, President Dwyer adjourned the meeting of the Elk River <br />Economic Development Authority at 6:21 p.m. <br />Minutes prepared by Jessica Miller. <br />`Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />Patrick Dwyer, President <br />
