Lot 1, Block 2, Orono Lake <br />3rd Addition. <br />Attachments <br />Location map, zoning map, site plan, floor plan, letter from applicant. <br />Background <br />Mr. Colbath is requesting a conditional use permit to operate an upholstery <br />business from his home located at 13155 183rd Avenue, Elk River, <br />Minnesota. -The applicant: currently operates an upholstery business in New <br />Hope and if approved would move the business to his home in Elk River. The <br />reason that this item is required to go through a conditional use permit is <br />that some of the equipment such as industrial sewing machines are not <br />normally found in a home. <br />Business <br />The business will consist of primarily residential re-upholstery and some <br />small scale commercial re-upholstery.
