INFORMATION <br />,- - <br />r of <br />ak <br />Rsver <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Nicola Blake-Bradley, Environmental Technician <br />DATE: September 17, 2009 <br />SUBJECT: Historic Neighborhood Meeting, October 1 <br />The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) will be having an informational meeting at <br />6:30 p.m. on October 1, 2009 at the Emhart residence (201 Norfolk Avenue) regarding the <br />pros and cons of Historic Neighborhood Designation. This is strictly an informational <br />meeting and no formal decisions will be made. Michael Koop of the State Historic <br />Preservation Office (SHPO) will be present to answer questions and give options regarding <br />historic neighborhoods to the residents in the Horseshoe Neighborhood. All residents in the <br />neighborhood will receive the attached flyer invitation. Please direct any questions to <br />Rebecca Haug, Environmental Administrator at (763) 635-1068. <br />
