In order to maintain good customer relations <br />and preserve the professional work environment, employees may not wear any <br />insignia, badge, or button on their person, nor display any insignia, badge, or <br />button on their desk or in their work area, excluding professional designation <br />awards. <br />• Utility Bulletin Boards. The Utility in its discretion may permit employees to <br />distribute written material by posting on Utility bulletin boards in accordance <br />with this policy, provided that any material for such posting must be reviewed <br />and approved in advance by the on-site supervisor. <br />• Solicitation and Distribution on Utility Computer and E-Mail Systems. <br />Employees and non-employees are prohibited from using Utility computer <br />systems and other property and resources, including the Utility a-mail system, <br />for solicitation or distribution, except in connection with aUtility-sponsored <br />activity or, with advance approval of the on-site supervisor, on behalf of a third <br />party that is not engaged in commercial, for-profit, or political activity. <br />Violation of This Policy By an Employee <br />Any employee in violation of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action up to and <br />including discharge. <br />12. INTERNET AND E-MAIL USE <br />E-mail and Internet Access may not be available to all Utility employees. All Utility <br />computers and software are the property of the Utility and are intended and expected to <br />be used for Utility business. Employees should have no expectation of privacy in their <br />use. Employee use, whether work or personal, of the Internet and e-mail may be subject <br />to monitoring or review by the Utility at any time, with or without notice. Violations of <br />this policy may result in discipline, up to and including termination. <br />This policy covers all e-mail, voice-mail and Internet usage that: <br />a) is accessed in or from the Utility's offices; <br />b) is accessed using remote access to the Utility's computer equipment, <br />telephonic equipment, or services; <br />c) is accessed using the Utility's computer equipment, telephonic equipment, <br />or any service paid for by the Utility; <br />12 <br />
