the Human Resources Representative (at the City of Elk River); and/or <br />any manager at the Utility. <br />The Utility wants to resolve any problems, but it can do so only if it is aware of them. <br />The Utility encourages any individual who believes he/she is being harassed to report any <br />and all incidents of perceived harassment. <br />Your report may be verbal or written; in either case, it is important that you state that <br />your report is being made under this harassment policy, or that it concerns harassment. <br />You may choose to whom you make the report; that choice, however, must be made from <br />the list of individuals named above. <br />The Utility will promptly investigate harassment complaints as appropriate, and take <br />other appropriate action. Any person who is found to have committed prohibited <br />harassment will be subject to corrective action up to and including termination. <br />Confidentiality - No Retaliation <br />The Utility will strive to protect the confidentiality of information the Utility receives <br />pursuant to this policy to the extent feasible and to the extent permitted by law. <br />Retaliation against any individual for making a good faith complaint under this policy, <br />for opposing harassment, or for participating in an investigation of any claim regarding <br />harassment or inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited. <br />If you feel that you have experienced such retaliation, you should follow the Reporting <br />Procedure outlined in this policy. <br />Questions About This Policy <br />Any questions about this policy or a related matter, should be referred to the Human <br />Resources Representative or any Utility manager. <br />7 <br />
