Comparing a rolling year block to a previous year <br />block, electric usage is up 6.28%. Year to date, water usage is up 2.38%. Comparing a rolling <br />year block to a previous year block, water usage is down 1.29%. <br />On May 20`~ Commissioner Dietz, Utility staff, and City staff met to review a salary range <br />structure proposed by the City based on the Job Evaluation Study previously conducted by Rod <br />Kelsey from Riley, Dettmann & Kelsey. This proposed salary range structure includes the salary <br />ranges for the new positions of Director of Operations and Technical Services Superintendent <br />that were to be review 60 days after being implemented April 1'`. This proposed salary range <br />structure is currently being "benchmarked" and will be prepared for review and consideration of <br />the Commission in the near future. <br />Many applicants sent resumes for the apprentice lineperson opening. Interviewing has finished <br />and an offer for employment has been extended to one of the applicants. Pending background <br />check, drug test, and physical, the start date for the apprentice lineperson could be as soon as <br />June 15`h <br />Please find the enclosed MMUA Resource for your reading. <br />
