It will [iiCely be more than twenty~~ve years before <br />the vision for the ~A~T is fully realized. There ire, howe~~er, many actions to be taken <br />in the near term -the nest one to ten years, These actions ~identi~ed in Figure 7~~~ are <br />critics[ to development success for the I=AT. <br />T'he initial focus of implementation ~vill be on actions needed to establish the master <br />plan as t[~e officio[ guide for development for the ~~~st Avenue FAST. The re~alignmer~t of the intersection at ~~~st Avenue and the <br />extended Twi~~ ~.akes i~arkway and canstructiar~ of the roundAa£~aut will highlight the <br />broad changes awaiting the area, and access control through median placement and <br />parcel access will lay the foundation for development. ~nl~anced streetscape far ~~~st <br />Avenue to the signal at Highway ~oJ~Gg and slang Twin takes Parkway will attract new <br />develapmentta districts Additionally NiN D~Tvvould consider a proposal to create a <br />signal at the proposed interchange location, replacing the existing at grade intersection <br />at ~C~~th Avenge and closing all other access paints except f or ~~~st Avenge. This new <br />signal and intersection would allow far yore near-tern development in the fast <br />l~iiC River Gatet~ay District. ~fcial mapping of Twin fakes Parkway should also be <br />considered. official mapping is an afcial platting process to secure right-of~wa}~ for <br />future raadvvay improvements.
