Call meeting to order June 6, 2006 <br />President Jerry Takle called the June 6, 2006, meeting to order. <br />2. Consider Utilities Agenda <br />James Tralle moved to approve the June 6, 2006, Utilities Agenda. John Dietz seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br />3. Consider Consent Agenda <br />James Tralle moved to approve the Consent Agenda as follows: <br />May Check Register <br />May 16, 2006, Minutes <br />Financials <br />John Dietz seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br />5.1 Staff Un-dates <br />Bryan Adams reported that both electric and water peaked on Memorial Day (Monday). <br />Glenn Sundeen referred to Bryan's miscellaneous memo regarding the status of the <br />following projects: <br />• Otsego Substation should be energized soon <br />• Otsego Feeder project is progressing better than anticipated <br />• Hwy 101 and County Road 42 road bore project is complete <br />• Target Feeder project still underway <br />• Station 14 substation construction remains on schedule <br />David Berg reported on the 14 new security sales for May. Maintenance on Well #4 is <br />still underway and staff has been flushing hydrants. <br />Theresa Slominski informed the Commission of an office employee that has been on <br />maternity leave has decided not to return to work. Staff is currently interviewing for that <br />position and hopes to be able to award the job by the end of the week. <br />5.2 Review Co Rd 40 Rebuild Proiect <br />At our March 2006 Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission meeting, we were apprised <br />of the upcoming County Road 40 road project. Sherburne County received federal funds to <br />rebuild County Road 40 and it appears this project will start late this year and be completed in <br />2007. This road project will require us to relocate and upgrade the overhead electric line. To <br />avoid tearing up this new road in a year or two, a trunk water line should also be installed with <br />
