CARRIED 6-0 <br />9.1.A. Information/Update Items - Spectrum Academy Athletic Fields <br />Director of Parks and Recreation, Bill Maertz shared a proposed agreement between <br />Spectrum High School and the City of Elk River giving the city access to the athletic <br />facilities in lieu of park dedication fees. <br />Commissioner Paige asked that a list of athletic facilities be included in the <br />agreement. <br />Commissioner Larson asked what the timeline of building out all the amenities <br />would be. <br />Director of Parks and Recreation, Bill Maertz shared that they would need to meet <br />or exceed $100,000 in 3 years. <br />Commissioner Boese questioned if there will be signage regarding this agreement. <br />Director of Parks and Recreation,. Bill Maertz stated there will be a park sign and will <br />• be on the park map and website. <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER POLSTON-HORK AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER BOESE TO RECOMMEND TO CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL FO THE AGREEMENT WITH SPECTRUM HIGH SCHOOL <br />WITH THE ATHLETIC FACILITIES LIST OUT.
