Attached you'll find a Construction Schedule and a
Materials/Installation Schedule for your reference. As you can see, these schedules of critical dates and
major project components help provide a visual that is useful for project management. These project
schedules were developed around two critical dates: the 28MVA transformer delivery date and the
United Health Group contractual power delivery date. From these dates, the remainder of work was
segmented and scheduled in a logical manner.
The Waco/Zebulon Substation drawings have been completed and issued for the bidding of materials
and labor. With the exception of the substation materials, all of the major components and labor have
been ordered/contracted by the March 20th ERMU Commission meeting. The substation materials bid
will be on the March 20th ERMU Commission meeting agenda for approval by the ERMU Commission.
Pending weather, earthwork could begin as early as April. Regardless of weather, the earthwork,
concrete, duct, fence, and grounding will need to be completed by July to take delivery of the 28MVA
transformer.
The United Health Group Feeder drawings have been completed and issued for bidding. The feeder
installation bid will also be on the commission meeting agenda for approval. The switchgeaz, primary
metering cabinets, and cable have already been ordered. With the exception of Burlington Northern and
Santa Fe Railway Company, all required permits have been obtained. The BNSF permit has been
executed and submitted by ERMU and is pending final approvaUexecution by BNSF. Construction
could start as early as weather and materials permit.
By the March 20th ERMU Commission meeting, most of the costs associated with these projects will be
known and can be compared to the budgeted figures. An update will be provided at the meeting.
