The report will contain a basic evaluation of the eligibility of the sites for listing on the <br />National Historic Register. The final report will be presented to will be presented to the City of <br />Elk River, the Sherburne County Historical Society, and the Minnesota Historical Society. <br />This report will be prepared in accordance with the guidelines of the SHPO Manual for <br />Archaeological Projects in Minnesota (June 2001) and will contain: <br />1. Executive Summary <br />2. Project Description <br />3. Research Design <br />4. Literature Search <br />5. Work Summary <br />6. Results <br />7. Recommendations <br />8. Maps <br />9. Revised Site Inventory Forms <br />Digital Data: All textual material will be provided in digital as well as paper format. Digital <br />photos, datasets, maps and GIS coverages will be presented to the City of Elk River, the <br />Sherburne County Historical Society, and the Minnesota Historical Society. <br />Presentations. A PowerPoint presentation summarizing the essential points will be presented <br />upon request to the Elk River Historic Preservation Commission, City Council, and Sherburne <br />County Historical Society. <br />Continued Service and Partnership. St. Cloud State University considers community service and <br />partnerships an important part of its role in the state of Minnesota. It is hoped that this project <br />will serve as continuation and expansion of existing partnerships with the City of Elk River and <br />Sherburne County.
