MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER <br />HERITAGE PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br />THURSDAY, MARCH I I, 2004 <br />Members Present: Jeff Gongoll, Cliff Lundberg, Cindy Olson, Pat Dwyer, & Kurt Kragness <br />Members Absent: Lance Lindberg & Bud Houlton <br />Staff Present: Stephen Rohlf & Rebecca Haug <br />Others Present: Bobbie Scott <br />1. Call Meeting to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the regular meeting of the Elk River Heritage <br />Preservation Commission was called to order at 6:15 p.m. <br />2. Consider 3 / 11 /04 Agenda <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER GONGOLL AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DWYER TO APPROVE THE AGENDA WITH THE <br />ADDITION OF ITEM 9.5 "ELK HIGH STADIUM". MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />3. Consider 2/12/04 Minutes <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER LUNDBERG AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DWYER TO APPROVE THE 2/12/04 MINUTES. MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br />4. Consider Items on Planning Commission 3/23/04 Agenda <br />The Commission reviewed the items on the 3/23/04 Planning Commission agenda and felt <br />that most of the items did not have potential conflicts with any known cultural or historic <br />resources. <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER LUNDBERG AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER GONGOLL TO RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING <br />CONDITION BE PLACED ON THE PLANNING ITEMS: "ANY ITEM OR <br />CONDITION FOUND THAT INDICATES THE SITE IS LIKELY TO YIELD <br />INFORMATION IMPORTANT TO PRE-HISTORY OR HISTORY SHALL BE <br />REPORTED TO THE CITY IMMEDIATELY. FURTHER, THE CITY <br />RESERVES THE RIGHT TO STOP WORK AUTHORIZED IN ITS APPROVAL <br />UNTIL THE SITE IS APPROPRIATELY INVESTIGATED AND WORK IS <br />AUTHORIZED TO CONTINUE BY THE CITY." MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />
