MAYOR KLINZING OPPOSED. <br /> <br />6.5. <br /> <br />Request by the City of Elk River for Zone Change to C3, Highway Business (Ron's Foods), <br />Public Hearing - Case No. ZC -02-08 <br /> <br />Director of Planning Michele McPherson stated that the City Council is requested to rezone <br />property located at 321 Baldwin Avenue from R4 (Multiple Family) to C3 (Highway <br />Business). Michele noted that it has been determined by staff that the present zoning of the <br />subject property is a map error. Michele indicated that Minnesota Statute requires that the <br />zoning and land use plans be consistent with each other. She indicated that zoning the <br />property to C3 would accomplish this. Michele indicated that the Planning Commission <br />voted unanimously to recommend approval of the rezoning. <br /> <br /> <br />
