Regarding other more typical terms and conditions of your promotion, I would like to <br />indicate the following: <br /> <br />Woge$ <br />I am recommending that you be placed at Step 4 of the Chief of Police pay range, <br />wh/ch is Pay Grade 11E. Assuming there are no legislative restrictions, you will <br />receive any Council approved cost of living increase on January 1, 2004, and <br />provided that your performance has been satisfactory you will move to the top of <br />your pay grade on July 1, 2004. <br /> <br />Vehicle <br />You will be provided with a city issued police vehicle. <br /> <br />Uniforms <br />You will receive the same amount of uniform allowance as the sergeants. Per our <br />recent conversation, this allowance is to be used for your police uniform and <br />equipment. <br /> <br />I believe that the above issues are all of the items that need to be noted as it relates to the <br />terms/conditions of your promotion. I am very pleased with the decision of the City Council <br />to promote you to the Chef of Police position.
