Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for the Complies <br /> <br />City of Elk River Minnesota Yes No <br />A full flow check valve shall be provided in the discharge piping to prevent foam <br />contamination of the fire pump and water tank. <br />A 5 psi opening pressure check valve shall be installed in the concentrate line. <br />The foam system shall be plumbed to two (2) discharges. Those discharges shall be one (1) <br />forwarded located pre-connected crosslay and One (1) rear discharge outlet on the driver's <br />side. <br />FOAM TANK <br />The foam tank shall be an integral portion of the polypropylene water tank. The cell shall have <br />a capacity of 30 gallons of foam The foam cell shall not reduce the capacity of the water tank. <br />The foam cell shall have a 1.00" drain valve located inside the pump compartment accessible <br />through a door on the passenger's side pump panel. The foam cell shall have a screen in the fill <br />dome and a breather in the lid. <br />PUMP COMPARTMENT <br />The pump compartment shall be separate from the hose body and compartments so that each <br />may flex independently of the other. It shall be a fabricated assembly of steel tubing, angles <br />and channels, which supports both the fire pump and the side running boards. <br />The pump compartment shall be mounted on the chassis frame rails with rubber biscuits in a <br />four-point pattern to allow for chassis frame twist. <br />Pump compartment, pump, plumbing and gauge panels shall be removable from the chassis in a <br />· single assembly. <br />PUMP CONTROL PANELS {Side Control} <br />All pump controls and gauges shall be located at the left (driver's) side of the apparatus and <br />properly marked. <br />The pump panel on the right (passenger's) side is removable with lift and turn type fasteners. <br />The left (driver's) side is fastened with screws. <br />The control panels shall be 45.00" wide. <br />The gauge and control panels shall be two (2) separate panels for ease of maintenance. <br />Polished stainless steel trim collars shall be installed around all inlets and outlets. <br />All push/pull discharge controls shall have stainless steel rods with a diameter of .50".
