Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for the 42 Complies <br /> <br />City_ of Elk River Minnesota Yes No <br />The electric control panel shall have a master switch on/off switch, an actuation switch, an <br />operation indicator light and operation instructions. The electric controls shall be located in <br />such a manner to allow the operator full view of the area into which the ladders shall be <br />lowered. <br />Two (2) air operated safety locks shall be furnished to securely maintain the ladder bracket <br />assembly in the travel position. These air operated safety locks shall be controlled from the <br />ladder rack control panel. <br />Ladders shall be secured to the brackets with two (2) locks retaining the roof ladder and the <br />extension ladder. The locks shall be such that when the roof ladder is removed, the clamps can <br />be moved a half turn to hold the extension ladder in place. <br />Maintaining maximum compartment space is a priority. <br />LADDER RACK INTERLOCK AND NOT STOWED INDICATOR LIGHT <br />An inter-lock shall be provided to prevent operation of the ladder rack unless the apparatus <br />parking brake has been activated. <br />A steady red indicator light shall be located on the cab instrument panel and illuminated when <br />the hydraulic ladder rack is not in the stowed position. The light shall be labeled "Ladder <br />Rack". In addition, the "Do Not Move Apparatus" light located in the cab shall be activated <br />when the hydraulic ladder rack is not in the stowed position. <br />LIGHTS~ FLASFHNG~ HYDRAULIC LADDER RACK <br />Flashing amber lights facing the front and rear shall be provided on the ladder rack and <br />activated whenever the rack is in the down position. <br />FOLDING LADDER <br />One (1) aluminum, 10' folding ladder shall be installed on the hydraulic ladder rack. <br />PIKE POLE~ 10' <br />One (1) pike pole, 10' long with a fiberglass handle shall be provided and located on the ladder <br />rack as determined by the Elk River Fire Department. <br />REAR STEPS <br />Bright aluminum treadplate, comer steps shall be provided at the rear on both beavertails. All <br />steps shall provide adequate surface for stepping. <br />PUMP <br />Pump shall be a Waterous, 1250 gpm, single stage midship mounted centrifugal type. <br />Pump shall be the class "A" type. <br />Page 42 <br /> <br /> <br />
