Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for the 15Complies <br /> <br />City_ of Elk River Minnesota Yes No <br />The crew cab doors shall be 34.25" wide x 79.00" high for easy entry, and located on the side <br />of the cab. <br />The cab and crew cab doors shall be constructed of extruded aluminum with a nominal <br />material thickness of. 125". The exterior skins shall be constructed from .090" aluminum. <br />All cab and crew cab entry doors shall contain a conventional roll down window. <br />Flush mounted, chrome plated paddle type door handle shall be provided on the exterior of the <br />cab doors. <br />All interior cab door handles shall also have flush paddle handles. <br />The door hinge shall be a stainless steel piano type with a .25" pin. <br />There shall be double automotive type rubber seals around the perimeter of the door framing <br />and door edges to ensure, a weather tight fit. <br />Polished stainless steel scuffplates shall be installed on the inside of all cab doors, extending <br />from the bottom of the door to 9.00" above the floor line. <br />Cab door panels shall be removable without disconnecting door and window mechanisms. <br />Engine hood "side" walls shall be constructed of .50" aluminum, top shall be constructed of <br />· 19" aluminum and shall be tapered at top to allow for more driver and passenger elbow room. <br />The engine hood shall be insulated for protection from heat and sound. The noise insulation <br />keeps the DBA level within the limits stated in the current NFPA series 1900 pamphlet. <br />Full circular inner fender liners, in the wheel wells, shall be provided. <br />The outside rear wall of the crew cab shall be covered with a bright aluminum treadplate panel. <br />A curved, safety glass windshield shall be provided, with over 2,754 square inches of clear <br />viewing area. <br />The cab windshield shall have bright trim inserts in the rubber molding holding the glass in <br />place. <br />All cab glass shall be tinted. <br />Economical windshield replacement glass shall be readily available from local auto glass <br />suppliers. <br />Page 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
