Bidder <br />Triple Combination Pumper Specifications for the 9 Complies <br /> <br />City of Elk River Minnesota yes No <br />AIR COMPRESSOR, BRAKE SYSTEM <br />The air compressor shall have 18.7 cubic feet per minute output. <br />BRAKE SYSTEM <br />The brake system shall include: <br />- Dual brake treadle valve with vinyl covered foot surface. <br />- Heated automatic moisture ejector. <br />- Total air system capacity of 4,362 cubic inches. <br />- Two (2) air pressure gauges with red warning light and audible alarm, that activates when air <br />pressure falls below 60 psi. <br />- Spring set parking brake system. <br />- Parking brake operated by a control valve. <br />- A parking "brake on" indicator light on instrument panel. <br />- A double check valve system to provide automatic spring brake application at 40 psi. <br />- Air Dryer properly sized for the brake system. <br />BRAKE LINES <br />Color coded nylon brake lines shall be provided. The lines shall be wrapped in a heat <br />protective loom where necessary in the chassis. <br />AIR INLET <br />One (1) air inlet with male coupling shall be provided. It shall allow station air to be supplied <br />to the apparatus brake system through a shoreline hose. The inlet shall be located on the driver <br />side of pump panel. A check valve shall be provided to prevent reverse flow of air. The inlet <br />shall discharge into the "wet" tank of the brake system. One (1) Kussmaul Auto Air eject shall <br />be provided and located on the driver side of pump panel. <br />ENGINE <br />The chassis shall be powered by an electronic Cummins diesel engine as described below: <br />- Number of Cylinders: Six (6) <br />- Bore and Stroke: 4.49" x 5.69" <br />Page 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
