Amend the Zoning Ordinance to require that there be a 100 percent
opaque fence or wall not less than six feet tall between
non-residential and residential sites; that such fence or wall be set
back from the property line five feet and the setback be landscaped.

· Require that residential lots abutting non-residential sites be extra
deep.

Highway 10 Edge

The commercial and industrial buildings along Highway 10 will be the
most visible to high numbers of the passing public and, therefore, should
be given special consideration in site plan reviews. Ideally, the buildings
would be between the highway and the major parking lots. Otherwise,
the parking lots should be softened with berming and landscaping as pre-
viously discussed. The buildings should present a pleasing facade to the
highway, including as many windows as is possible given the internal
demands of the operation.

49
