New equipment <br />will be supplied where it seems necessary for a timely move from one building to the <br />other or when the cost to remove and reinstall certain parts would approach the cost of a <br />new item. <br /> <br />New Motorola CDM base stations with paging capabilities and paddle mics will be <br />supplied for Fire Dispatch and the EMS station in EOC. New antennas will be installed <br />for the Fire, EMS, Old Main and Sheriff radios. The Ham Radio antenna and the <br />EOC/Fire base antenna will be moved from the old location. <br /> <br />Plenum rated cables will be used for all antenna cables inside the building. This includes <br />the Police, Fire Dispatch, Fire Chief, EMS and Ham Radio antennas. New surge <br />protection will be installed on all antenna cables and AC power lines. Motorola R56 <br />grounding standards will be implemented throughout the project. <br /> <br />Filter cavities will be added to the Police, Fire, Utilities and EMS radios to lower the <br />interference that can exist when multiple transmitters are in close proximity to each <br />other. With the 3 scanning radios in the vicinity of the Fire department, all interference <br /> <br /> <br />
