City Council Minutes p~ 3 <br />Apri17, 2008 <br />• 5.4. Discuss Council Worksession Agendas <br />Ms. Johnson presented the staff report. The Council agreed with the topics scheduled for <br />the April 14 wotksession. <br />G. Atmual Report Presentation <br />Department and division heads highlighted some of their accomplishments for 2007 and <br />goals for 2008, and then the Council held a question and answer session. <br />7. Other Business <br />Aldi's Screeninn <br />The Council directed staff to follow-up on the landscaping requirements for Aldi's and to <br />make sure the trees that have died will be replaced. <br />8. Council Updates <br />Planning ConLmission Liaison <br />Councilxnember Motin will be out of town during the Planning Commission woxksession <br />scheduled Apri122 in case anyone would like to fill in. <br />• Temporary Siexts <br />The Council directed staff to check on some temporary signs azound the dty to ensure they <br />are meeting the requirements of the ordinance by having the proper tag and being on an <br />approved surface. <br />Grass Repair from Snowplows <br />The Council questioned the city policy for handling damage to grass along sidewalks from <br />snowplow operations over the winter and noted there was damage on Main Street and in the <br />Trott Brook area. <br />Ms. Johnson stated she would follow up on this with staff. <br />9. Staff Updates <br />9.1. Cable Department Update <br />Ms. Allard presented the staff report. <br />Legacy Grant <br />Ms. Johnson noted Bill Maertz and she would be attending the next Sherburne County <br />Board meeting in order to get more funds from the Legacy Grant to cover some costs for <br />the YMCA. Councilxnember Gumphrey stated he would also attend this meeting. <br />• <br />
