exceed $250,000 for services and expenses with a term of January 1, 2001 through December 31, <br />200 I. <br /> <br />NCDA members asked that members and staff give updates to the general public on the progress of <br />the Northstar Corridor Project by speaking at rotary club meetings and meetings of other civic <br />organizations. <br /> <br />Two firms (URS/BRW and TKDA) responded to the RFP for engineering and desi=on services for <br />Multi-Modal Facilities to be located in the City of Ramsey and the City of Coon Rapids (Riverdale). <br />A motion was made by Bob Johnson, seconded by Duane Cekalla and carried unanimously to <br />approve the recommendation of the Project Management Team to award the RFP to URS/BRW for <br />the engineering and desi=o-n services for multi-modal facilities to be located in the City of Ramsey <br />and the City of Coon Rapids (Riverdale) and recommend that the Anoka County Regional Railroad <br />Authority execute a contract in a amount not to exceed $100,000 for services and expenses with a <br />term of December 12, 2000 through March 30, 2001. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />An updated was presented by Tim Yantos on BNSF negotiations. Mr. Yantos noted that capacity <br />improvements need to be agreed upon as soon as possible. <br /> <br />The following dates have been scheduled for NCDA public hearings to present the DEIS (5:00 p.m. <br />- 7:00 p.m.): <br /> <br />December 12, 2000 <br />December 13, 2000 . <br />December 14, 2000 <br /> <br />St. Cloud, Minnesota <br />Elk River, Minnesota <br />Fridley, Minnesota <br /> <br />Witney Senior Center <br />Sherburne County Government Center <br />City Hall <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Tim Yantos updated members on the Evaluation of Minimal Operable Segments which is a <br />requirement by the FTA. Ridership, capital costs and operating costs will be evaluated in <br />conducting this evalulation. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />The next meeting is scheduled for January 4, 2001, at 4:30 p.m. at the Sherburne County <br />Government Center. <br /> <br />12.
