Joint Meeting with Heritage Preservation Commission <br /> <br />Heritage Preservation Commission Members Present <br /> <br />· Commissioner Dwyer <br />· Commissioner Gongoll <br />· Commissioner Olson <br />· Commissioner Kragness (left prior to meeting ending) <br />· Commissioner Lundberg <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf reviewed the powers and duties of the Heritage Commission along with <br />achievements the Commission has attained since inception. Commissioner Gongoll <br />informed the Council that at some point the Commission would be requesting a budget line <br />item. <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf gave a brief update on the Historical Context Study. He noted that the Heritage <br />Preservation Commission was involved in the study and spent time going through some of <br />the downtown buildings. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lundberg suggested that the City delay the downtown RFP process until the <br />results of the Historic Context Study are received. <br /> <br />The Council thanked the Heritage Preservation Commissioners for the update. <br /> <br />7. Other Business <br /> <br />Mayor I~inzing noted that the Rotary Club have indicated they would like to locate a picture <br />of the Handke Stadium at the City. The Council thanked the Rotary Club and indicated that <br />it would display the picture. <br /> <br />Mayor I~inzing presented a proclamation from CAER proclaiming March as Food Drive <br />month. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO ADOPT A PROCLAMATION <br />PROCLAIMING MARCH AS FOOD DRIVE MONTH. COUNCILMEMBER <br />TVEITE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />8. Staff Updates <br /> <br />There were no staff updates. <br /> <br /> <br />
