Memo to Mayor and City Council/CU 02-09 <br />April 15, 2002 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />The City Engineer is currently working with the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />regarding the appropriateness of condition Five above. Additional information will be <br />available at the meeting for the Council to consider. <br /> <br />The site plan has been revised to provide the required parking. <br /> <br />In regards to the use of standing seam metal roofing in a residential district, this building <br />material is becoming more popular in residential applications. The life span of this material <br />far exceeds that of other roofing materials. Proper color selection will ensure that the roof <br />will not be obtrusive to the adjacent neighborhood.
