THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.6. <br /> <br />Request by Tollefson Development for Preliminary Plat Approval .(Twin Lakes Crossing). <br />Public Hearing - Case No. P 02-05 <br /> <br />Staff report submitted by Senior Planner Scott Harlicker. Mr. Harlicker stated that the <br />applicant is requesting prel/minary plat approval of Twin Lakes Crossing. The project is a <br />mix of 192 townhomes and 64 single family homes on 109 acres. He stated that the plat is <br />not consistent with the requirements of the Rlc and Rle zoning districts and that the <br />Planning Commission recommended denial of this plat based on the findings that; 1) the <br />rezoning was denied; 2) the plat does not comply with the dimensional requirements, and; 3) <br />public opposition to the request. Mr. Harlicker stated that staff also recommended denial of <br />the preliminary plat. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Bill Griffith, Larkin, Hoffman, Daly & Lindgren, LTD. - Submitted a letter refuting the <br />denial set forth by the city, a tree preservation map, and a report of geotechnical exploration <br />and review. Mr. Griffith rebutted the five findings recommended by city staff for denial of <br />the preliminary plat. <br /> <br /> <br />
