A profile cf Lowell Street extension to the northeast, showed it to <br />be impracticable. The staff thought that score of the vertical ~tzrves should <br />'`~ be lengthened to give better sight distance and safety. Also, some of the <br />grades should be reduces?. 7`he developer is thinking of tok~houses or multi- <br />unit dwellings for Block Q, along U.S. Highway rr169. =his would provide <br />cheaper units and cash for the rest of the development. mho public hearing <br />was then opened. Les f•-cGray, Vice President of Barton's wanted the Commissioners <br />be aware that Barton's pit is north of this development on both sides of <br />County Road x-33. Also, that they have land rights fo the north edge of <br />Brentwood Addition. Dennis Anderson said that Jacksor. and T<orfolk Streets <br />end at the north edge, toward 3arton's roldings. Lot sizes averages 2~ acres. <br />They have a State mransportafion Department letter in regards to sound barriers. <br />There would be approxirre.tely 190' of woods. mho public hearing was then <br />closed. Zhere are two street hook-ups 5•rith r~idgewood East 3rd Addition s ;reefs, <br />one with Proctor Street and 2 with tiS Eighway rr1E9 that would be in line with <br />the Ryland i~ills cutlet cross overs. 1'he drainage easements are not on the <br />plat as yet, but would rot present any problems.
