COMMUNITY PARK <br /> <br />ST A TEMENT OF PURP..OSE> AND GQAL.S: <br /> <br />The Elk River Liet"..eollmunityPark is provided as a joint <br />venture of the Elk River Lione Club and the City of Elk River. <br />It is being developed as a scenic and recreational asset to <br />our community with appeal to people of all ages and a broad <br />range of interests. <br /> <br />It's use is afforded to ev.ry~ne an B fair and equitable basis. <br /> <br />However,it is not intended '-0,.. regularly scheduled or "league" <br /> <br />activities. <br /> <br />All organizations, groups or individuals are encouraged to <br /> <br />participate in the ongoing efforts to improve the Park. It <br /> <br />is essential that all faciliti.s .r. designed and constructed <br /> <br />to be aesthetically pleasing, safe end extremely resistant to <br /> <br />the effects of weather and heevy use. <br /> <br />It is vital that we strive t~ achieve and maintain a high <br /> <br /> <br />quality facility which is a Bauroe of both civic pride and <br /> <br /> <br />lasting enjoyment for the people of our community. <br />
