Qualifications for <br /> <br />I Elk River Loading Assessment and Nondegradation Report <br /> <br />Ms. Gould joined Bonestroo's Water and Natural Resource Group in 2001 <br />and currently serves as a botanist/plant ecologist. Liza specializes in <br />natural resource inventories, rare species work, Minnesota Land Cover <br />Classification. System (MLCCS) mapping and data analysis, wetland <br />inventories and assessments, and in related GIS/mapping projects. She <br />has completed natural resource inventories and MLCCS mapping on over <br />300 square miles of the 11-county metro area and has helped numerous <br />communities use the resulting information in their open space, parks, and <br />comprehensive planning process. She has completed wetland function <br />and values assessments on hundreds of wetlands using the Minnesota <br />Routine Assessment Method (MnRAM), including working to integrate <br />MLCCS and MnRAM data. <br /> <br />Relevant Experience <br /> <br />. ELK RIVER, MN - NRI/MLCCS <br />As project ecologist and GIS coordinator, Liza was responsible for <br />coordinating GIS data acquisition from Sherburne County for use in the <br />Natural Resource Inventory, and completed all GIS work for the project <br />including mapping, data analysis, and presentation. In addition, Liza <br />served as project ecologist for the field assessment of the natural areas <br />within the city, assisted with report preparation, and presented the <br />findings to city staff and the Parks commission. This project included the <br />inventory of this fast-developing 44-square mile city along the Mississippi <br />River between the Twin Cities and Saint Cloud. <br /> <br />. ELK RIVER, MN - GREENWAYS ACQUISITION GRANT <br />Liza served as project manager to coordinate and write applications for <br />the DNR Metro Greenways grant to aid in the acquisition of the Top of <br />the World park addition. <br /> <br />. ELK RIVER, MN - GRANTS FOR TOP OF THE WORLD ADDITION <br />Liza served as project manager to coordinate and write applications for <br />two DNR grants including the Natural and Scenic Areas grant and the <br />Remediation Fund grant. As a result of these grants and another one <br />(DNR Metro Greenways Grant), $1.2 million in grant funds were secured <br />for the city for acquisition of the Top of the World addition. <br /> <br />. LAKE ELMO, MN - OLD VILLAGE AUAR <br />Liza served as GIS coordinator for securing GIS data from Washington <br />County for the acquisition of all GIS data related to natural resources. <br />Performed GIS analysis on the Minnesota Land Cover Classification data <br />and other data as part of the Land Suitability Analysis phase of the <br /> <br />-# Bonestroo <br />
