FILE: 230-216-30 CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION DESCRIPTION: This Change Order to the Forest Lake Contracting Contract for the construction of School Street, Jackson and Freeport Avenues. Involves adding work associated with a construction of a Park & Ride area on the old City Hall site located at the intersection of TH 10 and Main Street. The construction involves concrete curb and gutter, gravel base, bituminous surfacing, removal of miscellaneous concrete and bituminous, and grading of the site. In addition, this change order also deals with the salvaging and installing of six new hydrants on School Street. The original intent of the specifications was to salvage the existing hydrants, and to provide them to the municipal utilities and have the Contractor install new equipment. It is obvious from the Contractor's bid that his interpretation was to remove and reinstall the existing equipment. Therefore, he has requested additional compensation in the amount of the cost of the new equipment to be installed. The following three areas breakdown the components of this change order: .
