Fee Structure . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . We acknowledge that professional architectural and engineering fees are part of the overall budget and therefore important. At the same time, we also believe that fees should just be one of the selection criteria. Experience, qualifications, and ability to collaborate in a team process may be as - or more - important. Our goals when structuring a fee proposal are straightforward: To establish a well-defined project scope, and scope of professional services, that enables us to better determine an appropriate fee structure To establish fees that permit us to provide the services required to meet your objectives · To conclude fee discussions with a sense of fair treatment for all parties And, we are always willing to discuss our proposed fees to arrive at a fair and equitable agreement, should there be questions upon submittal of a fee proposal. Typical reimbursable expenses include travel and long-distance telephone when/as appropriate, printing (including drawing documents, bid sets, etc.), messenger/ delivery services, ete. Actual costs will vary based upon project scope and schedule. We monitor expenses very closely and advise our clients in writing of any potential adjustments. We understand that clients want, and need, to feel that our fees are appropriate to the project, and reasonable. BWBR has built its reputation on client service.
