MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />7.7. Authorization to Advertise for Bids for Fire Department 2.000 Gallon Tanker <br /> <br />Chief West stated the Fire Department would like to purchase a 2,000 gallon tanker and is <br />requesting authorization to advertise for bids. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUMPHREY TO AUTHORIZE THE ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BIDS FOR A 2,000 GALLON TANKER. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7.8. Authorization to Advertise for Bids for Street Department Used Motor Grader <br /> <br />Mr. Hals stated the Street Department would like authorization to advertise for bids to <br />purchase a used motor grader in an amount of $100,000 from equipment certificates, plus <br />the trade-in value of the current motor grader. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER FARBER AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUMPHREY TO AUTHORIZE ADVERTISEMENT FOR <br />BIDS FOR A NEW MOTOR GRADER. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7.9. Review and Approve Elected Official Travel Policy <br /> <br />Ms. Allard stated that according to state statute the Elected Official Out-of-State Travel <br />Policy must be reviewed by Council on an annual basis. She asked the Council if they had <br />any changes to the policy. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER FARBER AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER ZERWAS TO APPROVE THE ELECTED OFFICIAL <br />OUT -OF-STATE TRAVEL POLICY WITH NO CHANGES. MOTION CARRIED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />7.10. Discuss City Council Worksession Agendas <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council to set the following worksession agendas: <br /> <br />January 8 <br />· Executive Session for Union Negotiations <br />· Discussion with Legislators <br />· Northstar Commuter Rail Project <br />· Dulak Proposal <br />· Streets/Parks Uniform Policy <br /> <br />February 12 <br />· Discuss Overlay/Zoning Designation <br />· Public Works Site Improvement <br />· Discuss Zoning and Land Use for 18 Acre Parcel North of Sandpiper <br />· Discussion with Community Development Director Scott Clark <br /> <br />. <br />
