INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />On October 2, 2006 the City Council adopted Resolution 06-116 ordering the feasibility <br />study for the 2007 Irving Avenue Area Street Rehabilitation Project. The area to be <br />included in the project Includes Irving Avenue from 4th Street to School Street and all <br />intersecting streets as shown in Exhibit 1. In addition, the project will include the paving <br />of the alleys in the area and the milling and overlay of three streets south of School <br />Street also shown in Exhibit 1. <br /> <br />The 2007 Irving Avenue Area Street Rehabilitation Project can be broken down into <br />three groups representing the type of improvement proposed. The first and largest <br />portion of the project includes the reconstruction of streets, sidewalks, storm sewer, and <br />watermain. The second part of the project includes a mill and overlay area where the <br />streets have not deteriorated to a point that merits a complete reconstruction. The third <br />and final part includes the paving of three alley sections. The study will discuss the <br />existing conditions, proposed improvements, estimated construction costs, and <br />overhead costs which include city administration, engineering, fiscal, and legal <br /> <br />1 <br />
