<br />r\.! ~\ <br />( ;; <br />Ilk River <br /> <br />Agenda Item 8.8 <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />PAT KLAERS, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />APRIL 27, 1994 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: COUNTY ROAD 12/13 DRAINAGE <br /> <br />Work is continuing on the County Road 12/13 drainage improvement project. <br />Attached for your review is some background material from our City <br />engineering firm regarding this project. Consistent with City Council <br />discussions, this project has been incorporated into the spring, 1994 bond <br />issue. The estimated cost for this project is in the $400,000 range. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />This project is somewhat related to the Highway 169/10 culvert project that <br />the Council authorized a month ago. This Highway 169/10 project was <br />estimated in the $413,000 range and is also included in the spring, 1994 bond <br />issue. The Council should note that the actual bid approved by MnDOT was <br />$490,000. <br /> <br />In addition to these two projects, the City will also have to upgrade the <br />culvert at the railroad crossing area. This project will be required due to the <br />Earl Hohlen commercial development proposal as storm water associated <br />with this project will have a dramatic effect on the drainage and storm water <br />flow in this vicinity. <br /> <br />If the City Council desires to move forward with this County Road 12/13 <br />project, then approval of the attached resolution should take place. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />P.O.
