This program is to encompass all facets of <br />fire and EMS training. <br /> <br />Assist the Fire Chief with duties of Emergency Preparedness <br />Coordination. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITY FOR RELATIONSHIPS - INTERNAL <br /> <br />Daily contact with Building Inspections division to review code <br />requirements of proposed construction projects. <br /> <br />Daily contact with Fire Chief on work load, code enforcement or <br />employee relations. <br /> <br />Occasional contact with Police Department on code enforcement and <br />suspicious fire causes. <br /> <br />Daily contact with clerical staff for typing reports, letters or <br />memos, and for processing reports and filing <br /> <br />4It <br /> <br />Frequent contact with firefighters and officers of the department <br />relative to fire calls, fire reports, fire investigation, <br />training programs and department procedures. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITY FOR RELATIONSHIPS - EXTERNAL <br /> <br />Daily contact, written communication and phone conversations with <br />owners, managers of businesses on inspection problems and code <br />compliance. <br /> <br />Occasional personal contact and phone conversations with State Fire <br />Marshals office for code consultation or investigation of <br />incendiary fires. <br /> <br />Occasional contact with local school districts, technical and <br />community colleges on fire education programs. <br /> <br />4It <br />
