The <br />business will involve tailoring, repa~rlng, and altering <br />customer clothes. The applicant has indicated that she will be <br />the only employee of the business and plans on working <br />approximately 20 hours per week. Of that 20 hours, 16 hours <br />would be open to the public. The applicant is proposing to <br />deliver the tailored items back to the customer when finished <br />to try to limit some of the excess traffic. The applicant will <br />also make custom crafts by request. Most will be sold off-site <br />however, she has indicated she would like to have an open house <br />before Christmas. Elk River City Code requires this type of <br />home occupation receives a conditional use permit due to the <br />on-site sales potential. <br /> <br />HOURS OF OPERATION <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The applicant would like to work 20 hours per week and be open <br />to the public 16 hours per week. The hours of operation will <br />be Tuesday (2 p.m. to 8 p.m.), and Wednesday and Thursday (11 <br />a.m. to 4 p.m.). The applicant has indicated that all of her <br />customers will be required to make an appointment, which will <br />limit the number of people at the house at any given time. <br /> <br />P.O.
