A picture of the
proposed building is attached. Currently, Mr. Ertel rents
space for his equipment and would like the option of storing
the equipment at his home. There is an existing detached
garage currently in the approximate location of the proposed
building. The existing garage will be removed to make room for
the new structure. If this structure is approved, staff would
recommend the exterior of the building match the existing home
or be of an ear~h tone color.

RECOMMENDATION

Staff is recommending approval of the conditional use permit
request to construct a 2,280 square foot non-agricultural metal
skin building as it meets the seven standards for a conditional
use permit with the following conditions:

1.

THE COLOR OF THE BUILDING MATCH THE EXTERIOR OF THE
HOUSE OR BE OF AN EARTH TONE COLOR.

2. THE STRIP OF LAND PURCHASED BY THE APPLICANT BE
APPROVED BY STAFF, RECORDED AT SHERBURNE COUNTY, AND
ADDED TO MR. ERTEL'S PARCEL.
