Mr. Pat Klaers, Administrator
May 26, 1993
Page Two

4. WATER TREATMENT FACILITY (WESTERN AREA)

Bids have been received for the water treatment facility in the Western Area. These bids
will be considered by the Utilities Commission at their June 8th meeting. We would
anticipate that the bid will be awarded at that time and construction will proceed.

s. MAIN STREET BRIDGE

As you are aware, the construction of the Main Street Bridge is nearing completion. We
anticipate that the approaches to the bridge from either side, which are the last major item
to be completed, will be worked on over the next couple of weeks. We anticipate the
bridge will be open sometime between June 13th and June 20th.

6. HERITAGE LANDING

The contract for Heritage Landing has been awarded to LaTour Construction. A
preconstruction meeting was held on Tuesday, May 25th. Construction is anticipated to
begin on Tuesday, June 1st. Construction will begin south of County Road 30 within the
Heritage Landing and Mississippi Oaks platted areas. Construction north of County Road
30 in the Fresno Street area will not begin until sometime after June 21st, and will be
completed within the time lines set out by the County for being through their property by
July 10th.

7. MISSISSIPPI OAKS

Plans and specifications for the fIrst phase of Mississippi Oaks are currently being
prepared. As you are aware, part of the improvements for this project are included in
the Heritage Landing project. The additional improvements needed to complete the
project are included in this set of plans and specifications. We anticipate plans and
specifications will come back to the City Council at their June 7th meeting for approval
and authorization to advertise for bids.

8. CHERRYHILL BLUFFS 2ND ADDITION

Plans and specifications for the fust phase of Cherryhill Bluffs 2nd Addition are being
prepared. We are currently working with MnDOT relative to the releasing of a strip of
land through this parcel. As was discussed with the Council previously, we would
anticipate the developer will just leave about five lots out of the fmal plat where this
MnDDT property is being worked on for turn back. This would then be platted at a later
date as phase 2. The plans and specifications should be ready for the City Council at
their June 7th meeting for approval and authorization of advertisement for bidding.

000-2604.may
