CU 93-09 <br /> <br />APPLICANT <br /> <br />Ed and Kris Stevens, 21216 Vernon Street, Elk River, MN. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION <br /> <br />A conditional use permit to: exceed the 1,000 square foot <br />maximum size of a single accessory structure, to exceed the <br />maximum total square footage of accessory structures on a <br />single lot, and encroachment on the 300 foot setback to metal <br />skin building. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />SITE ZONING <br /> <br />AI/Agricultural <br /> <br />SURROUNDING ZONING <br /> <br />AI/Agricultural - all directions. <br /> <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />Lot 13, Block 1, Greenhead 3rd Addition. A map showing the <br />general location of the affected area is attached. <br /> <br />OVERVIEW <br /> <br />Staff refers the City Council to Section 900.20 "General <br />Regulations." Subsection b states that the total square <br />footage of all non agricultural accessory buildings on a single <br />family parcel can not exceed 1,400 square feet. Subsection d <br />states that no single accessory building on a single family <br />parcel shall exceed 1,000 square feet. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Staff also refers the City Council to Section <br />Subsection 2 "Accessory Use Setbacks", footnote 2. <br />footnote states that accessory structures of metal <br />exterior shall be setback a minimum of 300 feet <br />neighboring residences or platted areas. <br /> <br />900.18, <br />This <br />skin <br />from <br /> <br />P.O.
